The Black Eyed Peas Get Flipped!™
 
Orange, Calif. October 20, 2009.  The Black Eyed Peas have hired Get Flipped!™  to keep their concerts safe and secure throughout their world tour.  The Get Flipped!™ ID software creates backstage passes  that are counterfeit-proof due to their unique animation technology.  Upon their return from Australia, The Black Eyed Peas will be in the United States, opening for U2 at the Pasadena Rosebowl on October 25th. 

Pascal Duvier , security director for The Black Eyed Peas, is the owner and president of the German-based company Protect Security.  When he saw these amazing passes backstage at a Britney Spears “Circus” concert, he knew he had to utilize this cutting-edge technology to protect his high profile clients as well.  The software was actually created for Justin Timberlake’s security team to use backstage for his “FutureSex/LoveShow” World Tour in 2007.

Get Flipped!™ is the only company creating these personalized security badges that cannot be falsified.  The software snaps a photo of the subject, adds a custom name and title; then in minutes they are combined into an animated lenticular pass that is tamper-proof. The custom artwork  “flips” back and forth as the viewer examines the card from different angles.  The technology is the same one that was used in the “winkies” found in cracker jacks, but now live photos have been introduced.

The Black Eyed Peas aren’t the only stars flipping over Get Flipped!™ - the Orange County company has taken its innovative photos to parties for major movies like Superbad, You Don’t Mess With the Zohan, as well as private parties for Paris Hilton and Terri Hatcher, and events like the World Music Awards, Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, and the finale party for “American Idol,” to name just a few.Since its infancy in 2004, Get Flipped!™ has expanded into a domestic and international success.
